Girl Skateboards was founded by Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, Spice Jones and Meagan Baltimore in 1993. Mike, Rick and more top notch skaters of that era left their sponsors (mostly World Industries and Plan B) to form Girl Skateboards. Girl and sister company Chocolate are responsible for creating some high quality skate videos like Goldfish, Mouse and Yeah Right!
