CLEANING UP COLOGNE’S SKATE SPOTS, ONE SPOT AT A TIME

We’re kicking off spring with something special at Pivot Skateshop: Frühjahrsputz, our first-ever spot-fix challenge! From May 12th to June 15th, we’re teaming up with Carhartt WIP to give Cologne’s skate spots a fresh new look—and we want you to be part of it.

What’s the Deal?

Frühjahrsputz is our way of giving back to the skate community by improving and reimagining local skate spots. Whether it's patching up cracks, smoothing ledges, or creating something entirely new, this is your chance to leave a mark.

Here’s how to get involved:

Pick Up a Spot-Fix Kit
Head to Pivot Skateshop and grab your free kit provided with support from Carhartt WIP. It’s got the basics you need to get started. Quantities are limited so better hurry 

Fix or Create a Spot
Choose a spot in Cologne that needs some love—repair it or build something new.

Document the Process
Take before and after photos to show the transformation. Then, film yourself skating the improved spot.

Send It In
DM us your photos and video footage (@pivotskateshop)

Collect Your Reward
Stop by the shop, show us what you’ve done, and pick up some well-earned prizes!

What’s Next?

Once we’ve cleaned up the city, we’re keeping the momentum going with Go Skateboarding Week, happening from June 16th to 21st. Expect more events, sessions, etc. Details dropping soon.
